To celebrate our 20th anniversary, The Symphonia is launching MUSICAL CHAIRS, a new annual-fund campaign to support the cost of bringing you superb music and the programs that are part of our mission to “inspire, educate and engage the lives of our diverse South Florida community through extraordinary musical experiences.”
Costs like:
- bringing the “best of the best” conductors to lead Symphonia concerts.
- supporting ARTISTIC - EDUCATION - OUTREACH and COMMUNITY COLLABORATION programs.
- providing teaching hours for one of our Strings & Self-Esteem program teachers.

Giving Levels
$15,000 - PRINCIPAL CONDUCTOR CHAIR Leads THE SYMPHONIA
*Supports bringing the “best of the best” conductors to Symphonia concerts.
$10,000 - FOUR PILLARS support THE SYMPHONIA
ARTISTIC – EDUCATION – OUTREACH - COMMUNITY COLLABORATION
*A gift at this level can help support the many ways The Symphonia provides musical experiences throughout our community, outside of regularly ticketed concerts.
$5,000 – FOUR INSTRUMENT FAMILIES Support OUR SYMPHONIA ORCHESTRA
STRING FAMILY - WOODWIND FAMILY - BRASS FAMILY - PERCUSSION FAMILY
*Our musicians do more than play for us. Many are also experienced music educators and serve as teachers for our Strings & Self-Esteem program which provides music lessons for underserved children. Supporting an INSTRUMENT FAMILY of your choice can help cover costs like: Teaching hours for one of our Strings & Self-Esteem program teachers.
$2,500 – PRINCIPAL CHAIRS Lead OUR SYMPHONIA MUSICIANS
* The Symphonia creates powerful experiences. Live music is intricate and powerful. BUT music has to be rented or purchased, and for many pieces…there are licensing fees. Music comes at a cost!
Supporting a PRINCIPAL CHAIR of your choice can help cover costs like: Music rental for one concert.
$1,200 – OUR MUSICIANS – Make THE SYMPHONIA
*Our musicians come to play with The Symphonia, from throughout the tri-county area. That’s a lot of driving! Your support can help to cover their travel expenses.

SYMPHONIA FRIENDS LEVELS
At each level, there are multiple ways you can help!
- $1,000 – Many of you enjoy “program notes”, they contribute to your enjoyment of the concert. Your help at this level can help us continue to bring these notes to you.
- $500 – Can put a string instrument in the hands of a child in The Symphonia’s String & Self-Esteem program.
- $250 – Can help with postage. Yes…we have those costs! It helps tell people about us!
- $100 – Helps provide reduced or free ticket experiences so there are no barriers to accessing our programming.
- $50 – Can help cover “snacks” for MEET the ORCHESTRA children. Hey…snacks = +++
