Speaking in Music

Meet the Orchestra is an interactive program for children, their parents, and their grandparents, exploring music and its instruments.

At today's event, children will learn about the ways that composers communicate their musical ideas to musicians.

  • They will have listen to Daniel Andai perform Concerto for Violin in C as a Soloist with The Symphonia.
  • Daniel will speak to the audience about his career, and will answer questions.
  • The program will conclude with a musical game and snack.

Multi-talented Daniel Andai has shared his versatile artistry as violinist, arts educator, and conductor with audiences and students throughout the world. Currently, he serves as Concertmaster of the Miami Symphony, Dean of the New World School of the Arts, and Artistic Director of both the Killington Music Festival and Miami’s Alhambra Orchestra, where he is also Principal Conductor.
